Lykke Li Live..Review

This Wednesday, Lykke Li was at Club Soda in Montreal. I must say I didn’t expect to love this show as much as I did. You probably know that Lykke Li is an singer from Sweden and that her music is really slow and smooth. Well let me tell you I didn’t assist to a slow and smooth show. The girl was on fire on stage ! She danced like there’s no tomorrow and banged on the drums like a crazy cavewoman. Unfortunately, she was sick and didn’t have a lot of voice and this is why her performance last about an hour where she performed her most famous hits. I must say her songs were really different live and were 10000 times better. One of my favorite part of the show was when she stopped everything and told us she was sick and excused herself for sounding like Lil Wayne. All of a sudden, from nowhere, the A Milli beat started playing and Lykke Li rapped over the beat. Seriously, this was the most funny/hot thing I had seen. This blond swedish girl rapping over 2008’s hottest rap beat..
