Zakee Kuduro
Once or twice a year, there’s a producer I fall in love with. These producers always have something in common. They dictate what type of music I’m going to listen to for a while. This sort of fetishism started maybe 2 or 3 years ago. I can still count on one hand the producers I followed a lot. In chronological order : Scott Storch, Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Bangladesh & Cha-Lo. A month ago, I found the producer that would replace them all. Zakee Kuduro.
Ku Ku Bass is the music of the future and is Zakee’s music style. He’s dropping an EP in late July and the first single, featuring Anbuley, is simply too hot to exist. This music, produced entirely in Ghana, is perfect for summer as the African sound makes you want to dance until you fall from exhaustion. Zakee Kuduro also produced some songs for Rye Rye which are going to be on her upcoming album. You definitely want to listen to his first single, Sane Eba, right now and LOUD.

I also suggest you go take a look at his myspace so you can hear what he’s able to do ! I could have given you any of his productions as I’m definitely loving everything he does. I think Zakee Kuduro is THE producer to watch as you’re probably going to hear his name a lot more in a near future !!

This music makes me wanna get up out of my seat and go ape shit. I’ve been looking for music like this for the longest and you’ve just quinched my thirst. I feel this music because I am from Accra, Ghana and I love how he’s repping my country.. our country and he’s doing right. This track is so right and so hype. No offense to anybody, but I’m glad that a fellow African kid is blowing up who looks like me,talks like me and is proud to call himself the beautiful words,”I AM AFRICAN”. I dont know if you know but “Sane Eba” means the war is here. Some food for thought. We love you ZAKEE KUDURO.
