Yelle covers Robyn’s song

Oh. My. God. This is SOOOO good ! Seriously I can’t remember the last time I loved a Yelle song that much. This is a cover from Robyn’s song : Who’s that girl. The result is simply amazing. The beat is a little faster than the original version and it’s clearly a good choice as it becomes both a dancing song and a song you could listen in the background without being annoyed too much. For those who didn’t know the original version (just like me…) I’m also putting a video of Who’s that girl so you can compare the two versions.

For your information, Robyn alson did a Yelle cover. À cause des garçons becomes Because of boys. The result is definitely less entertaining and it’s hard to recognize the song because the beat has been changed a lot.

Those two songs have been produced in collaboration with iTunes with its Foreign Exchange concept. I can only hope there will be more artists to come as it’s always entertaining to hear some classics being revamped by other artists.
